The HMC-SDC National Alumni Association has the potentials of becoming a viable organization.
The interest and high sprit of my fellow alumnus has been great, and I look forward to working with all you.
This kind of spirit can transform in to a successful alumni
association. Sojourner-Douglass College's has and will continue to spread around the world and throughout every community, because of the efforts of an alumni
association that is dedicated to its cause.
The far most important function of any organization is how it manage its funds. There are going to be many
opportunities for raising funds to support the college and students at Sojourner-Douglass College. But again it require the maintenance of accurate financial records. The management of funds requires a special
aptitude and commitment that one must remain focused and have a mind to be accountable, trustworthy, honesty in our dealings with others who may express an interest in the organization.
I bring the kind of experience mentioned above to this organization and has demonstrated a strong interest in the
college since graduating in 1992. I have always had a dream that the alumni association could be a success and do pledge to help make it a success. I have an extensive background in financial
management and accounting and believe that I can continue to manage the funds of the association in a professional manner. My experience takes me back to management of federal funds, civic association, homeowners association, alumni association.
I currently the an Enrollment Manager at the Prince Geroge's County Campus where I advise and
assist students with their financial aid. I appreciated your vote for the Office Of Treasurer of the HMC-SDC- National Alumni Association.
