Sexual Harassment
It is the policy of Sojourner-Douglass College that all employees and
students are responsible for assuring that the campus is free from sexual
harassment. Because of the strong disapproval of offensive or inappropriate
sexual behavior on campus, all employees and students must avoid any action
or conduct which could be viewed as sexual harassment, including:
a) unwelcome sexual advances;
b) requests for sexual acts or favors;
c) other verbal or physical conduct of a harassing nature.
Any employee or student who has a complaint of sexual harassment by anyone,
including faculty, staff, students, or visitors, must bring the problem to
the attention of the Vice President of Academic Affairs/
Provost. The complaint will be investigated and appropriate corrective
action, including disciplinary measures when justified will be taken to
remedy all violations of this policy.
